McAvoy’s housing terrace concept
Offsite construction specialist McAvoy has launched a new steel framed system as the firm’s entrance into the residential market.
The modular system has been tested with Queens University, Belfast and can be used to build multi-storey apartments, detached, semi-detached and terraced homes.
An entire house can be built in a day and from foundations to occupation in just seven days, the firm says.
Managing director Eugene Lynch said: “We are well placed to become a significant player in the provision of high quality family housing, manufactured offsite in a quality-controlled factory environment.
