Mace has released a video showing how its "jump factory" in London’s East Village operates.

The facility is being used to construct two residential towers 30 and 26 storeys tall, at a rate of one storey every 55 hours

It is used to assemble the components for the build, with the whole floorplate of the project encased in a giant “marquee” structure. The top of the marquee is supported by gantry cranes which are used to lift components to the working deck.

Within a one-week cycle, Mace installs pre-cast perimeter columns, twin walls, insert ventilation, drainage and MEP service modules, while lifting and placing modular bathroom and utility pods.
