We’re very excited to announce that our latest print edition of Construction Manager has a brand new look. The May issue should be landing with readers in the next couple of days featuring a new shape, size, paper and content.
The magazine features in-depth exclusives on how the new Warner Stand was built at Lord’s and how BIM was used to upgrade its iconic media centre.
We also take a look at the programme of council house building and have introduced a new Experts section, which includes a piece on how consultancies are recouping their apprenticeship levy and why construction is like the hokey cokey – from our witty new legal columnist Sarah Fox.
The new issue is packed with opinion including the latest column from Mark Farmer, lively debate and CPD.
As part of the redesign Construction Manager has also set up a new editorial advisory board of 12 senior industry figures. They are: Mark Beard, Ann Bentley, Ian Eggers, Peter Caplehorn, Harvey Francis, Professor Jacqui Glass FCIOB, Paul Morrell, James Pellatt, Nick Raynsford, Richard Saxon, Andy Von Bradsky and Phil Wade.
Editor Denise Chevin said: “We know that receiving Construction Manager magazine is considered one of the key benefits for CIOB members and we want to give our readers the best experience as possible.
“Construction is an exciting and dynamic industry that is becoming ever more professional and innovative. We want the magazine to reflect those changes and the values of the CIOB and its members who are often at the forefront of driving them.”
Construction Manager has the largest print circulation of any UK construction magazine at 31,500 readers and is published 10 times a year.
Like our magazine our website is also undergoing refurbishment – look out for that in the coming weeks.
