My journey to understanding COBie part 2: what data needs to be prioritised

Welcome to the second instalment of a five-part series in which Yondr BIM manager Steven Adams details his journey towards understanding COBie. Adams is a draughtsman by trade who learnt Revit and then BIM, which brought him to COBie.

By sharing how I use COBie in this series, I hope to help others who are struggling to grasp it as I once did.

Here, in part two, I share how I link assets to type and how I came to realise that I don’t need everything at every stage.
