Marc Burton wins Construction Manager of the Year 2021

Marc Burton has been named overall winner of the 2021 Construction Manager of the Year Awards for his role building a functioning 180-bed hospital wing in just 25 days on the island of Jersey.

Burton, who is employed by Garenne Construction, beat 76 other finalists in 10 categories to win the title for his work on the Jersey General Hospital – Nightingale Wing.

In addition to winning the Construction Manager of the Year Award, Burton was also bestowed an MBE in the 2021 honours list for his work on the hospital.
