Legal & General’s burgeoning modular homes business has increased its pipeline to 670 homes, after reaching a deal to deliver 153 homes in Broadstairs, Kent.

The company already has schemes in Selby, Bristol, and North Horsham. The homes will be built in Legal & General’s factory in Sherburn-in-Elmet in Yorkshire. The factory is set to deliver 3,000 modular homes a year by 2024.

The homes at the Broadstairs development, which is being developed alongside Town & Country Housing, will be a mix of two-, three- and four-bedroom homes, all of which have been designed to achieve an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) ‘A’ rating.
