Bev Dew
Kier’s finance director Bev Dew is to leave the company in September, shortly after the announcement of its annual financial results.
Dew has worked for Kier for just over four years, having joined from Balfour Beatty. Prior to that he was chief financial officer of the UK engineering and construction business at Lendlease.
Kier said a search for a successor to Dew was now underway.
The announcement of his departure follows news in March that former Wates CEO Andrew Davies would take over as the chief executive of Kier, following the resignation of Haydn Mursell.
Commenting on Dew’s departure, chairman Philip Cox said: “Bev has been our finance director for over four years and I would like to thank him for his contribution over this time. Bev remains firmly committed to the company and will be working with the board to deliver the 2019 results."
