Bovis Homes has appointed a new managing director to head up its southern regional division.
Steve Jones joins Bovis with more than 30 years experience in house building having worked at Crest Nicholson, St James Homes and Bellway.

Most recently he served as a regional managing director for Churchill Retirement Living.
Jones will focus on furthering the region’s recent process of change and implementing new customer service practices.
“In the coming months we will look to focus on our goals of further improving our customer service provision and working even closer with our supply chain partners to ensure we produce first class homes for happy customers,” he said.
At the beginning of the month former Galliford Try boss Greg Fitzgerald also joined Bovis as its new chief executive.
The housebuilder has had a rollercoaster few months, recently rejecting merger talks with Galliford Try as it believed that an independent strategy under the leadership of Fitzgerald would now deliver greater value for shareholders.
In February it posted a fall in pretax profit from £160m to £154.7m for the year ending 31 December. It also announced it would be slowing the pace of building in 2017 after taking a £7m hit related to complaints about unfinished properties, including electrical and plumbing faults.
