Constructionarium has announced the appointment of Rebecca Hemshall as the new chair of the board.

The not-for-profit organisation provides education and training for students who are studying and professionals across the built environment sector.

Having served as a non-executive director since 2021, Hemshall will now take over the mantel from Keith Clarke who has stepped down after leading the board for six years.

Hemshall is currently UK finance director for J Murphy & Sons and has more than two decades of experience in financial management.

Commenting on her appointment, Hemshall said: “I am truly honoured to take on the role of chair at Constructionarium.

“This organisation has a remarkable history of enriching academic qualifications and empowering students and young professionals to gain practical experience in the sector.

“I am excited to work alongside our small dedicated team to expand our reach, enhance our programmes, and to inspire the next generation of construction professionals.”
