The 2026 International Awards for Powered Access (IAPAs) and the IPAF Summit have been rescheduled due to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.

The events had been scheduled for 21 and 22 April in Istanbul, Turkey, but are now expected to take place on 14 and 15 October.

In a statement, the International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) and co-organiser KHL Group said the decision had been taken to ensure the safety and wellbeing of delegates, sponsors and employees.

Peter Douglas, CEO and managing director of IPAF, said: “As joint organisers, we regret the need to take this action, but it had become clear in recent days that we had no choice but to change the dates.

“The safety of all those involved in the summit and IAPAs is paramount. We know this will be an inconvenience for all those attending the event and we ask for your understanding.

“We hope that by mid-October the situation in the region will be such that we can meet and enjoy this annual celebration of our industry.”

Delegates will be able to transfer their event booking to the new dates in October. Those unable to attend the event on the new dates should contact IPAF.
