Interserve’s managing director of UK construction Gordon Kew (pictured left) is to leave the business at the end of next month as the company embarks on a restructure that will see it merge its UK and international divisions to created a combined construction arm.
The new construction division will be led by George Franks (pictured right), who currently runs Interserve Construction International division.
Franks has worked for Interserve for 34 years and has experience of both the domestic and international construction businesses.
Kew served as managing director of UK construction for two years, having previously worked as managing director of UK building and director of UK regional building.
Meanwhile from 3 September, Interserve’s international FM business will be joining the UK support services division.
Chief executive officer Debbie White said: "These changes support our vision for a simpler, more efficient and more effective Interserve, where people are empowered to make things happen within a clear and strong leadership structure.
"Bringing our UK and international construction and support services businesses together will help us to reduce complexity, support the transfer of people and skills and develop a clear and consistent value propositions for customers wherever they are in the world."
