Leicester City Football Club has unveiled plans for the expansion of its King Power Stadium, taking its total capacity to 40,000 people.
The project also includes a 220-room hotel and an event and entertainment arena.
The unveiling of the plans signals the start of a public consultation period.
As well as an additional 8,000 seats at the stadium, there are also proposals for a new Leicester City retail space, residential and commercial space, and multi-storey car parking.
The public consultation is set to end in September, ahead of a planning application in the autumn.
