During October, Anglia Ruskin University (ARU) and the CIOB will host a series of workshops to support students in a competitive market for placement and employment.
These will start with ‘An Introduction to the CIOB’, focusing personal and professional development and an opportunity to network with key employers.
Following this, Helen Clements, community investment advisor at Morgan Sindall Construction will host a CV and interview techniques workshop, showing students how to make their applications stand out from the crowd.
The final workshop ‘Identifying Opportunities’ will be facilitated by Steve Drury, CIOB Chelmsford Committee chair and vice chair of the Employer Engagement Committee, who will discuss the importance of engaging with employers, placement opportunities, graduate selection and the value of networking.
