Weymouth College has launched a new round of courses dedicated to green skills in construction.

The courses, which start in September, aim to address the critical skills gap in sustainable construction practices, as identified in the Dorset Local Skills Improvement Plan, and support the industry's shift towards greener solutions.

The courses include:

  • Domestic, commercial, and industrial electric vehicle charging installation
  • Installation and maintenance of small scale solar photovoltaic systems
  • Installation and maintenance of heat pump systems (non-refrigeration circuits)
