Graham has been appointed as the main contractor for the £110m redevelopment of the former Boddingtons Brewery site on Great Ducie Street in central Manchester.
The project is for Latimer, the development arm of Clarion Housing Group. Graham will build 505 new mixed-tenure homes on the 1.25-acre brownfield site.
The proposed buildings will feature a traditional brick facade, aluminium windows and Juliet balconies to reflect the industrial heritage of the area.
The development has already secured Gateway 2 approval, which means that construction of higher-risk buildings can start.
Construction is due to begin this summer, with completion expected in autumn 2028.
