FM Conway appoints former Carillion MD as CEO

FM Conway has appointed former Carillion managing director Adam Green as CEO of the family-owned business.

Green takes over from Michael Conway, who steps into the role of chairman.

Michael Conway has been at the helm of FM Conway since 1981 when he bought the company from his father, Frank Conway.

The company started life as a road mending business with just three men and a lorry. Under Michael Conway, it has grown and transformed into an organisation that now employs over 1,500 people with a turnover of over £325m.
