Inim Electronics will launch software next week that automates fire safety design.

According to Inim, the FireDesigner software “simplifies complex system configurations, transforming them into intuitive, easily understood workflows”. FireDesigner is designed specifically for fire detection, fire sprinklers and suppression systems. It automates manual tasks, “ensuring every component is accurately specified, compliant and integrated seamlessly”.

It generates customisable reports that include detailed cable sizing and autonomy calculations, and a configurable materials list. The documentation package features a technical dossier containing manuals, datasheets, certificates and AutoCAD drawings, all automatically downloaded to FireDesigner to ensure they remain current.‎

Inim Electronics director of operations Paul Kerman said: “FireDesigner represents a major leap forward for fire safety design. Our goal has always been to make life easier for fire safety professionals and with FireDesigner, we’re removing complexity, increasing accuracy and saving time, so engineers can focus on delivering safe, compliant systems.”

The software will be launched at the London Build Expo on 19-20 November.

Inim, founded in Italy, has operated in the UK for more than 10 years and counts the likes of Rolls-Royce, Toyota and Birmingham International Airport among its clients.
