Fiontar Group, a health and safety consultancy based in Ireland, has joined the International Powered Access Federation (IPAF).
Fiontar Group supports contractors across Ireland, the UK and international markets, specialising in complex construction environments, including the data centre and pharmaceutical sectors. It is IPAF’s first international health and safety consultancy member.
Its affiliation with IPAF means Fiontar Group will also support industry best practice and promote the effective use of powered access equipment, including mobile elevating work platforms, mast climbing work platforms and hoists.
Damien O’Connor, IPAF’s country manager, welcomed Fiontar Group to the network. “As a consultancy working across major projects, their influence, from the planning stage through to delivery, will help strengthen best practice and support the safe and effective use of powered access equipment across the industry,” he said.
Karen Mulvey Commercial Development Director at Fiontar Group, added: “Our team is committed to raising standards in health, safety and risk management, and IPAF membership aligns strongly with that approach, particularly in promoting best practice around the safe and effective use of powered access equipment.
“We are delighted to become members and look forward to engaging with the wider IPAF network, sharing knowledge, and continuing to support safer working practices across the industries and regions we serve.”
