Argent’s Paradise Birmingham development
Developer Argent has appointed Mark Shirburne-Davies as its new head of construction to oversee its projects and those of its new company Argent Related.
Shirburne-Davies joins from developer PegasusLife where he was chief operating officer. He served as development and design director at Laing O’Rourke for four years between 2008 and 2012 and prior to that he worked as director of development and design and as Heathrow Terminal 2 development director for BAA.
He will be responsible for helping to complete Argent’s projects at King’s Cross in London and Paradise in Birmingham, as well delivering its schemes at Brent Cross South and Tottenham Hale in London.
David Partridge, managing partner of Argent, said: “Bringing Mark in to head up our construction and delivery processes is a really important move for us. Argent’s development pipeline at King’s Cross, Paradise in Birmingham and (through Argent Related) at Tottenham Hale and Brent Cross South is an extensive and ambitious one. Mark’s considerable skill and experience will be vital in executing this programme effectively and efficiently, in what is inevitability going to be a challenging environment."
