Dr Anne Kemp awarded OBE in Queen’s Birthday Honours

Dr Anne Kemp, chair of the UK BIM Alliance, has been awarded an OBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours list for 2019 for her significant contribution to the UK’s programme to deliver a smart digital economy for the built environment.

Dr Kemp is a Fellow and technical director for digital engineering (DE) and BIM strategy and development at Atkins and member of the Management Advisory Board for the Centre for Digital Built Britain (CDBB)

Professor Andy Neely, pro-vice chancellor for enterprise and business relations at the University of Cambridge and director of the Centre for Digital Built Britain, said: “This is well-deserved recognition of the outstanding contribution that Anne has made to the digitalisation of the built environment. CDBB is fortunate to work with a number of world-leading experts and leaders in their field and Anne Kemp is definitely among them. We send her our warmest congratulations.”
