Digital construction professionals in the north can now register to attend Digital Construction North (DCN) in Manchester on 19 November.

This year’s event at Manchester Central is the second for the Digital Construction Week spin-off. It is free to attend and will feature more than 50 exhibitors and more than 50 presentations across five theatres.

Exhibitors already confirmed to attend include Elecosoft UK, Glider Technology, IFS UK, Revizto and Trimble UK.

The five theatres will host talks, panel discussions, and interactive workshops from more than 75 speakers. Key topics will include business efficiency, change management, winning work, standards, information management, AI, BIM, asset management and more.

Reflecting on last year’s event, One Creative Environments technical director – digital estates Vicki Reynolds said: “I thoroughly enjoyed Digital Construction North. It was especially great to see the Women in BIM panel so well attended, catch up with friends and colleagues who I haven’t seen for a while, and watch some engaging and thought-provoking presentations.”

Dominic Sibbring, MD at Digital Engineering Studio, added: “It was fantastic to see the North getting some well-deserved attention in the digital construction space. The energy and insights were inspiring, and it was great to catch up with some familiar faces.”

Special events

DCN is inviting industry community and interest groups based in the north to stage special events around the show.

Event director Karolina Orecchini said: “Last year’s debut of Digital Construction North in Manchester exceeded our expectations, proving there’s a real appetite in the north for a dedicated showcase of AECO innovation. This year, we’re building on that momentum and bringing together the brightest minds, boldest ideas, and most transformative tech that’s helping power the north’s levelling-up and construction boom.”

Due to venue capacity, tickets for DCN are limited. All registrations go through a vetting process, and places will be approved on a first-come, first-qualified basis.
