A team from Costain climbed the three highest peaks in the UK in 20 hours and 1 minute to finish first in this year’s COINS 3 Peaks Challenge.
The event saw forty firms from the construction industry take part with 22 finishing in under 24 hours. Teams from Kier, Taylor Wimpey and BAM were amongst those scaling Ben Nevis (1,344m) in Scotland, Scafell Pike (978m) in England, and Snowdon ( 1,085m) in Wales earlier this month in some of the worst weather conditions in the event’s nine year history.

The event raised £230,000 for the COINS Foundation Charity. The results are below.
