CIOB member George-Alin Boghean MCIOB has published a book based on his experience in the industry.
Boghean, a contracts manager with Crest Nicholson, says he wrote the book – Under the Hard Hat: What they don’t teach you about construction management – to show ‘the real side of site management: the pressure, leadership, coordination, problem solving, difficult situations, wellbeing and all the things you usually learn the hard way on site”.
Alongside the book, Boghean has also shared his views on LinkedIn on topics such as “The Job Nobody Prepares You For”, construction terminology and glossary words, leadership under pressure and the reality gap between drawings and site and few others.
