CIOB invites applications for head of environmental sustainability

The Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) is looking for a head of environmental sustainability.

The postholder will take on a new remit for the CIOB. They will be instrumental in developing and executing the Institute’s global strategy in this vitally important area, for the benefit of members, the wider built environment sector and all users of the built environment. 

The head of environmental sustainability will work with colleagues, stakeholders and strategic partners all over the world to develop a global sustainability strategy and activities. The the aim is to transform the CIOB’s positioning, recognition and relevance in the field of environmental sustainability. 

The successful candidate will bring experience, ambition and passion to the role, and be able to demonstrate a proven track record of operating at a senior level in the field of environmental sustainability, within the built environment and professional membership sectors. If your experience has a global reach, all the better.

Formal interviews for this role are provisionally scheduled to take place on 15 and 16 March 2023. They will be preceded by an initial screening interview in late February/early March.
