Members can register online to attend sessions at QE II Conference Centre on 24 November.
The Chartered Institute of Building is to hold a major, high-level industry conference on 24 November, examining the opportunities facing the sector in an era of transparency and technology.
Inspiring Construction will hear from key construction speakers and “C suite” executives who will offer their insight on how construction businesses and the industry can rise to the challenge of building sustainably and profitably.
The event, to be held at the QEII conference centre in Westminster, will also include practical information from a number of leading industry case studies on new innovations and ideas.
The event will also feature the premiere of Building Tomorrow, a current-affairs style programme made by ITN Productions and the CIOB in a year-long project.
The film consists of 12 shorter segments, each sponsored by a contractor, manufacturer or industry adviser, which will capture the latest innovations and best practice in building and construction management.
The programme will then form part of an extensive online communications campaign which includes CIOB members as well as journalists, writers and bloggers.
ITN Productions’ UK director of programming, Simon Shelley, said: “ITN Productions are delighted to be partnering with the Chartered Institute of Building examining the major themes affecting the sector and interviewing the industry’s key players. We’re excited to embark on this project to engage with and inform professionals from the industry.”
Some of the sessions at Inspiring Construction will be free for CIOB members on a first-come first-served basis.
