CIAT teams up with BRE to offer BIM training in UK and China

The BRE has joined forces with the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists (CIAT) to deliver training to CIAT’s 9,500-strong membership, with the first courses in BIM expected to launch next year.

The courses will be delivered through the BRE Academy, the BRE’s training business, both online and in the classroom at the Academy’s training facilities in Watford.

Tara Page, education director at CIAT, told BIM+: “We are currently in discussions with the BRE about how to develop the BIM training and who to target it at. We have a meeting planned in January to finalise details of the BIM course, which is likely to take the form of a series of structured webinars.
