The Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists (CIAT) is pleased to be working with Construction Manager as one of its key providers of content for its 7,500 UK-based members.
CIAT members will now be provided with CM’s weekly news updates and directed to the CM website. Editorial features from CM magazine will also be republished in CIAT’s quarterly magazine AT.
The move is a strengthening of the long-term relationship between CIOB and CIAT – since 1997 both Institutes have worked together to strengthen the links between Construction Management and Architectural Technology.
The alliance has benefits for members of both institutes, which include joint development and networking events in the UK and abroad, as well as a 25% reduction on the standard rate of membership for those wanting dual membership.
As part of the development CIOBjobs (the CIOB’s dedicated jobs board) will also in future carry jobs specifically aimed at members of CIAT and architectural technologists who are CIOB members.
Adam Endacott, public relations director at CIAT, said: “We welcome the opportunity to work even more closely with CIOB and also to add benefit to our members with the high-quality editorial content created by the team behind Construction Manager.”
The Construction Manager editorial team would also like to welcome CIAT members to the readership, and hope that they find CM’s coverage interesting and informative.
