The CIOB has now opened entries for its 2016 International Innovation & Research Awards.
The awards aim to find and celebrate achievements across the built environment area, from academic research to industry innovation.
Overall the awards cover six categories and are open to recent graduates, already established industry professionals and academics. Among the categories for entry are:
- Innovation Achiever’s Award;
- Digital Innovation Award;
- Innovation in Education & Training Award;
- Research Paper Award;
- Undergraduate Dissertation Award;
- Masters Dissertation Award.
As well as the chance to showcase achievements, the winners will also be in the running to pick up a number of cash prizes up to £2,000.
Among the 2015 winners were Professor Sidney Newton and Russell Lowe from the University of New South Wales, Australia, in the Innovation in Education and Training category and Professor Albert P C Chan FCIOB and Professor Francis K W Wong FCIOB from Hong Kong Polytechnic University who won the Innovation Achievers award.
The closing date is 7 October 2016 (the Masters Dissertation Award closes on 11 November 2016)
