Architect Falconer Chester Hall’s render of the Lexington in Liverpool (Falconer Chester Hall)
Chinese contractor BCEGI has been appointed to build a £90m, 34-storey residential tower in Liverpool, called The Lexington, by build-to-rent developer MODA Living.
Designed by Falconer Chester Hall architects, the tower overlooks Liverpool waterfront, and is part of Peel Land and Property’s £5bn Liverpool Waters regeneration project which will see the creation of five new neighbourhoods.
The Lexington marks BCEGI’s first major residential project in Liverpool after it began working in the UK in 2013 on the £800m Manchester Airport City business district. BCEGI stands for Beijing Construction Engineering Group International.
