Kier BAM JV appoints Causeway to support HS2 work

The Eiffage Kier Ferrovial BAM (EKFB) JV on HS2 has appointed software firm Causeway to provide cost management and data services on the project.

The arrangement will support the JV’s supply chain management processes, including electronic invoicing, and provide real-time visibility of project performance.

The scope of EKFB’s work on HS2 includes 15 viaducts, 6.9km of tunnels, 22km of road diversions, 81 bridges and around 30 million cu m of excavation. 

David Lowery, executive director of EKFB, said: “A key part of our strategy is to make the best use of data integration to provide one source of truth, in real time. We work with key industry suppliers and business teams to use data to increase productivity, health, safety and wellbeing on site.
