Bovis Construction has signed a contract with the Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO) to build new facilities at Kendrew Barracks and Bulwell Army Reserve Centre in the East Midlands.
Bovis will deliver a combination of new buildings and refurbished assets across both sites, including new single living accommodation units, medical and catering facilities, and supporting infrastructure at Kendrew Barracks.
It will also provide a band practice facility, unit offices and secure storage facilities at Bulwell Army Reserve Centre.
The project is being delivered under the Defence Estate Optimisation (DEO) scheme, a £5.1bn programme to modernise infrastructure for military personnel.

Construction is scheduled to start in autumn 2026 following ongoing design and development work.
