Balfour Beatty Group’s chief executive has pledged £10,000 to help support 10 apprentices who are set to begin a one-year mentoring programme
Ten apprentices from Balfour Beatty and its supply chain have secured the company’s Founder’s Pledge Award, following a comprehensive application process.
The Founder’s Pledge was launched in March by chief executive Leo Quinn to commemorate the 10th anniversary of The 5% Club.
Quinn founded The 5% Club in 2023 to tackle the UK’s national skills shortage and the resulting poverty trap for unskilled people.
