AtkinsRéalis has renewed its deal with Sypro for digital contract management for five years.

AtkinsRéalis undertook a review of the digital contract management market before selecting Sypro. The firm cited Sypro’s user-friendly design, compliance with a wide range of contract types including bespoke options, and the platform’s agility as reasons for choosing it over competing solutions.

AtkinsRéalis has used Sypro for more than a decade: the platform has been used to oversee the delivery of hundreds of complex construction projects. The Sypro platform supports a range of contract types, primarily NEC, but is also used across JCT, FIDIC and custom contract suites managed by AtkinsRéalis.

As part of the new deal, AtkinsRéalis teams will also gain access to a bespoke Power BI reporting platform engineered by Sypro. The solution provides real-time visibility across AtkinsRéalis’s project portfolio, enabling faster, more informed decision-making, aiming to result in stronger governance and enhanced oversight throughout the project lifecycle.

Mark Forbes, regional director at AtkinsRéalis, said: “Sypro has become a trusted part of how we manage complex contracts, giving our teams the visibility, reporting and governance needed to deliver projects efficiently and compliantly. From an extensive review of software on the market, we are confident that Sypro continues to provide the most complete suite to serve our contract requirements.”

Charley Wainwright, business development director at Sypro, added: “AtkinsRéalis was one of our earliest major partners. Our relationship has evolved from a simple software deployment into a deeply collaborative and strategic partnership.

“Working alongside its senior team ensures our product development is continually informed by what the real-world needs of market-leading project managers, helping us push the boundaries of what modern, proactive digitally-enabled contract management can achieve.”
