A new app is being rolled out in the UK which is claiming to be a game changer – by allowing site managers to easily measure material deliveries from their smartphone.
US-based developer Stockpile says that the amount of material bought, sold, produced, or delivered to sites has been a long-standing issue in the construction industry. Resolving these disputes requires bringing in measurement experts and can take days, often costing in the region of £1,000.
