Two contractors have been named among the 100 best medium-sized firms to work for.
Willmott Dixon, which employs just under 1,700 people, took fourth place in the Sunday Times’ 100 Best Mid-Size Companies To Work For.
Meanwhile, Lincoln-based Lindum Group, which undertakes new-build contracts worth up to £20m and refurbishment contracts up to £12m and employs around 700 people, reached 31st place.
Engineering consultant Hydrock was 39th, while engineering and planning consultancy Curtins was 41st. Engineering and environmental consultancy BWB Consulting was 98th.
Commenting on the publication of the list, a spokesman for Willmott Dixon said: “Given the research that points to the huge numbers of new people our industry needs in the next few years, it was important to see construction represented in the top five.”
