Skanska is boosting its diversity programme with a new return to work programme for professionals who have taken voluntary career breaks of two years or more.
Like an internship, the annual programme runs for 12 weeks initially with the aim of joining on a permanent basis thereafter.
“As part of the programme we offer tailored support and coaching to help with the transition back to work and consider any flexible needs to cater for different circumstances, recognising this is sometimes a barrier for those wanting to get back to work,” said Israil Bryan, diversity and social programme manager at Skanska.
