Kingspan has relaunched its EnergiPanel solar air heating system as Sol-Air. The cladding panel system is typically installed vertically on a south-facing facade to absorb the maximum incident solar radiation, converting it into heat energy and warming air to be pumped through a building’s heating system. Kingspan tests have shown the panels can cut heating costs by up to 20%, while cutting carbon emissions and contributing to a better energy performance rating. www.kingspanpanels.co.uk
Kawneer has improved fire resistance in its traditional curtain walling systems and doors. The AA720 door and fixed light variants and AA100 and AA110 curtain walling systems now offer fire and smoke protection of up to 30 minutes’ integrity and insulation. Intumescent strips of foam throughout the glazing, which expand when heated, and cooling materials that sweat to cool the aluminium profiles, help prevent smoke and heat penetration. www.kawneer.com
Eurobrick’s P-Clad brick slip cladding system has passed fire safety tests that allow it to be specified and installed on buildings over 18m high. Suitable for new build and renovation projects, P-Clad comprises a cement particle board backer panel bonded to a ribbed skin. The horizontal ribs are designed to allow easy and fast alignment of brick courses. A range of brick slip finishes and mortar colours are available designed to match the look of real brick. www.eurobrick.co.uk
