More than 1,000 former employees of Carillion have joined new employers during the past week.
A total of 1,085 roles transferred to new suppliers last week, the Official Receiver confirmed.
The news means that close to three quarters (73%) of Carillion’s pre-liquidation workforce – a total of 13,430 people – have now been found employment.
Meanwhile, last week also saw three workers made redundant through the liquidation of the failed contractor.
Some 13% of Carillion’s pre-liquidation workforce (2,407 roles) have been made redundant to date.
A further 1,256 employees have left the business during the liquidation through finding new work, retirement or for other reasons.
