New video CPD modules from eight industry experts are now available to watch online at the CIOB’s web portal.
The eight specialist videos were filmed at the recent Construction Manager Conference on Innovation, New Technology and Processes in Construction on 4 June, held at the offices of law firm Olswang.
The videos offer a range of topics, from a future-gazing look at construction IT to contractual issues and technical questions.
The videos include:
Regular CM columnist and management consultant Trevor Drury of Morecraft Drury on “new models of construction procurement and the public procurement regulations”.
Chris Hornby, technical manager for Wienerberger Porotherm, on specifying clay block walling systems.
Dr Maxwell Mallia-Parfitt, Research Fellow, University of Reading discussing “Augmented and virtual reality - useful tools or expensive pipe dream?”
Professor Chris Gorse, professor construction and project management at Leeds Beckett University, on energy efficient construction and performance gaps.
