NEC is offering two new accredited courses for managers working client-side on NEC 3 contracts, after the successful launch of its accredited training for project managers delivering NEC Engineering and Construction Contracts (ECC).
The two-day accredited course for construction supervisors and a four-day accredited course for term service managers will run alongside the existing four-day project manager accreditation, which has now qualified over 320 NEC3 ECC project managers in the UK and Hong Kong.
The supervisor accreditation is supported by the Institute of Clerks of Works and the Construction Inspectorate of Great Britain (ICWCI). Individuals completing the programme and seeking membership of ICWCI will be able to use their accreditation as a qualification towards membership.
The course for term service managers using the NEC Term Service Contract has been designed to give students the skills required for issuing instructions, monitoring contractors’ performance, maintaining the risk registers and assessing compensation events and payments.
