A man has been arrested after an incident last month when a digger, believed to have been driven by a construction worker, smashed through the entrance to a Travelodge hotel that was under construction.
Merseyside Police confirmed that a 35-year-old man from the Netherton area was arrested on Valentine’s Day on suspicion of causing criminal damage with intent to endanger life following the incident in Liverpool on 21 January.
He has also been arrested on suspicion of assault in relation to a separate incident in Broadgreen.
