Staff also dressed in red to show support and raise awareness about the charity’s work, as well as learning about what it’s like to be in care and hearing from care-experienced young people.

Last year in England, 13,050 young people left care on their 18th birthday, many of whom often lack family support.

Mace said it has donated and/or raised more than £100,000 to Become this year and it wants to achieve £1m.
