A total of 64% of Carillion’s former workforce has now been found re-employment, according to the Official Receiver.
The news came after another 19 staff were moved to new suppliers following Carillion’s collapse in January.
Another two staff were made redundant, taking total redundancies to 12% of the pre-liquidation workforce.
To date, 11,637 jobs have been saved and 2,303 jobs made redundant through the liquidation of Carillion, the Official Receiver said.
Just over 3,000 employees are currently retained to enable Carillion to deliver the remaining services it is providing for public and private sectors until decisions are taken to transfer or cease the contracts.
