The London-based company, originally founded in 1994, owes a total of £142,000 to creditors, according to documents in Companies House, nearly £80,000 of which is owed to trade creditors and £19,000 to employees. Meanwhile, the firm has assets of £15,688.
Studio E was named among witnesses called to appear before the second phase of the Grenfell Tower Inquiry.
During the first phase of the inquiry, it was not legally represented due to limited financial resources. In an opening statement ahead of the second phase of the inquiry, hearing for which have been suspended during the coronavirus pandemic, Studio E asserted that it did not have any knowledge that the products used on Grenfell Tower were unsafe. One of its co-founders, Andrzej Kuszell, subsequently appeared before the inquiry.
How convenient.
