Youth CIOB Think Construction animated video on careers in construction
John D Green FCIOB, the Dorking Hub committee vice-chair and a construction consultant, recently returned to his former school to give a presentation on career opportunities in the construction industry.
Speaking to pupils at King Edward’s School in Witley, Surrey, as part of a careers fair for students in year 11 and 12, he described his personal journey in the industry, explaining the variety of roles and types of projects he has been involved with, as well as describing the various roles and disciplines that make up a project team.
