CIOB past president Paul Nash has joined workplace and move management consultancy firm Aberley as a director.
Nash, who was CIOB president in 2016/17, previously worked for Aberley as an external consultant.
During his career, he has held senior positions at David Langdon, Aecom, Sweett Group, and EC Harris.
His appointment to board level will allow him more influence over the future strategy and growth of the business.
Meirion Anderson, managing director said: "We are delighted to have Paul working with us at Aberley. He will be a valuable addition to our growing team and together we are confident in the business model we have set for the coming years."
Nash said: "Having first worked with Aberley over six years ago, it was their approach to business that made me want to join. With Meirion and Fiona, we have an ambitious plan to be a business that offers all services around the lifecycle of a project. Not just a bigger firm, but wider services and a wider sector reach too, expanding beyond the corporate."
Nash’s arrival follows on from the announcement earlier this month that Daniel Redmond and Stephen Dalziel of IDC Consult would also join the business to support the growth of its programme and project management division.
Aberley, based in St Albans in Hertfordshire and founded in 2001, has satellite offices in London and Manchester.
