Ascot Design associate director Alex Naraian has been appointed president of the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists (CIAT).
He will hold the office for the next two years.
The CIAT represents around 10,000 architectural technologist professionals internationally.
Naraian said: “I am honoured to take on the role of president of an institute that I am very passionate about and for a profession for which I hold immense pride.
“My vision is to focus on identity, presence and growth to evolve the Institute further, working to our 2018-2013 strategic plan.
