A new £1.2bn framework for suppliers of modular construction on a range of public buildings has opened for bidding.
The Crown Commercial Service is inviting bids for its ‘modular and portable buildings’ framework until 17 December this year, with the four-year framework running from March 2019 until March 2023.
It will provide for the supply, design, delivery, construction and maintenance of temporary and permanent modular buildings, both purchased and hired.
Split into seven lots with ten places on each, the framework covers buildings in the education and healthcare sectors, as well as public buildings in other sectors. It is open to SMEs as well as larger organisations.
